Join the UIDN/Kingston City Schools (KCSD) Tutoring Program for English language learners at Bailey or Miller Middle Schools. Volunteers help students individually or in pairs with homework, games, and creative projects. English-as-a-new-language (ENL) teachers are there to support volunteers Monday-Thursday, 2:20 to 3:40 p.m. Volunteers may sign up for one or more days per week. KCSD’s covid policy requires that tutors be vaccinated, masked, and socially distanced.

If you need more information, email Marjorie Leopold or Jeanette Baggot. If you’re ready to volunteer now take these steps: (1) Unless you are already an approved KCSD volunteer, fill in their volunteer form and mail or email it to Jeanette Baggot, 162 Wilber Ave., #105, Kingston 12401, or pacificbluedragon@gmail.com. (2) Contact Jeanette at the email address above or phone her, 845-338-0927, with your prefered days and school and any questions. Jeanette will match you with an ENL teacher and make necessary arrangements.
