It is with deep sadness that we grieve the sudden and unexpected loss of Tom Cathcart. Tom was an early volunteer with UIDN and worked on behalf of our fund-raising efforts. He was a deeply caring, compassionate, gentle, humble, gracious, and genuinely good and decent human being.
Tom always manifested the very best in us, and he will be greatly missed by those who shared his life most closely, and those of us with whom he shared his gifts and talents so generously.
Tom lived with faith that in death life is not ended but is merely changed, and so we entrust him to the mystery of the God in whose light Tom endeavored to walk so very faithfully. May he rest in peace and let us hold his grieving wife, Eloise, and their five children in our hearts. — Father Frank Alagana
