CURRENT PROJECTS

Throughout August 2023, UIDN is collecting school supplies, backpacks, and book bags. Get details here.

Reading Together connects adults who like to read with English language learners in New Paltz public schools. Reading can be in person or virtual. Adults do not need to be bilingual.

This fall, on request, UIDN will help place volunteers in local schools. If you teach English learners and may be interested in a volunteer — or if you want to volunteer in a classroom — let us know. Most placements do not require fluency in another language.
