UIDN mourns the death of our friend, Jone Miller. On Sunday, 22 January 2023, she lost her life in a tragic fire at her home. Jone, a purple clad bundle of energy, brought love and joy to our community.
Jone was a regular presence at UIDN’s weekly pantry and prepared scrumptious vegan lunches for the volunteers. Her husband, Steven, asks that any contributions in Jone’s honor be made to UIDN.
May Jone’s joyful and generous spirit give us strength as we mourn her loss, and may we embrace each day with gratitude as she did. In Jone’s words, “Happy New Day.”
