A line-up of all-star authors and performers will present a night of readings, live music, community, and joy to benefit three of today’s most vital causes: reproductive justice, immigrant rights, and freedom of the press.
Headliners: Ethiopian-American novelist & PEN America president Dinaw Mengestu (Someone Like Us), feminist author Jessica Valenti (Abortion: Our Bodies, Their Lies, and the Truths We Use to Win), and writer & cultural critic Lucy Sante (I Heard Her Call My Name).
Musical performers are The Goddess Party, Robert Burke Warren, and David Gonzalez. In addition the following Hudson Valley writers will take the stage: Abigail Thomas, Mark Whitaker, Lena Moon, Greg Olear, Cheryl Clarke, Linda Villarosa, Gretchen Primack, Kate Hymes, Beverly Donofrio, Timothy Liu, Laura Kaplan, Jana Martin, Lisa A. Phillips, Jai Chakrabarti, and Nina Shengold.
