Local artist and educator Lauren Hollick is leading a series of Friday afternoon workshops.
Bring family, friends, coworkers. All experience levels and ages welcome. Ages 12 and under must be with an adult. Sharp tools will be on a high shelf away from little hands.
Learn to create and illustrate a simple story in zine format — small, simply illustrated booklets that illustrate a thought, situation, or story.
Mixed media supplies such as pens, markers, ink, pastels, colored pencils, paper, and blank zine books will be available. Feel free to bring you own sketchbook or other supplies.
Contribute whatever you like or are able. 80% will go to UIDN; 10% to The Good Work Institute for hosting; and 10% to Lauren for materials, planning, and overseeing each session. Register here or use the QR code above.
