Hudson Valley Gives is an initiative of the Community Foundation of Orange, Sullivan and Rockland, Inc. It’s designed to provide nonprofit groups in Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland, and Westchester Counties with a platform to reach online donors and raise awareness of their missions, programs, and services. Last year’s initiative raised over one million dollars for area nonprofits, bringing the total raised since 2015 to over $5.5 million.
UIDN hopes to raise $15,000. Please consider donating. You also can help spread the word by sharing Hudson Valley Gives on your social media accounts and asking others to do the same. $25 means 3-4 days of groceries for a family of 4; $100 assists with a family’s utility bill; $250 covers transportation to a legal or medical appointment;
and $500 helps a family with rent.
