Ulster Immigrant Defense Network (UIDN) programs and services include:
- Help with household needs including food, clothing, furniture, school supplies, and emergency financial aid;
- Assist individuals who want to get a driver’s license.
- Community education and advocacy;
- Rent and utilities assistance.
- A helpline offering information and referrals for legal support, social services, education, and more;
- Safe spaces and sanctuary;
- Rapid response to ICE actions;
- Education information and support to schools, students, and families;
- Transportation and/or accompaniment for health care and school-related appointments, court appearances, ICE check-ins, and other official meetings. The more notice we have, the more likely we will be able to help. No rides can be arranged without at least two days’ notice.

The helpline does not have 24/7 coverage; leave your request and contact information on voice mail and someone will get back to you within a day. Helpline and office volunteers are bilingual English/Spanish speakers. We do our best to help those who speak other languages.
