Immigrant Defense Project provides legal help to immigrants with criminal records. Callers should be prepared to leave details on an answering machine; calls are returned within two business days. Immigrant Connection Project (Spanish and English) is coordinated by the Vera Institute of Justice and New America. ICON helps lawyers and parents looking for children separated from their families.
