7-9 p.m., Bloom & the B2’s fundraising concert for UIDN. Bloom, a 33 women’s ensemble and The B2’s, a nine voice ensemble, both directed by Debbie Lan, will perform a program of original arrangements of songs by Pat Humphries, James Taylor, Johnny Clegg, Ma Muse, Low Lilly, Susan Werner and others. Suggested donation: $10-25.


Saturday, Nov. 2, 12:30-2 p.m., New Paltz Peace Park, Plattekill & Hasbrouck Avenues, New Paltz. With the right wing ascendant, practices intended to keep people divided and strike fear among those who would fight back are on the rise.
