For immediate help with basic needs, including food

Food is available Wed., 4 to 6 p.m. Personal hygiene items, laundry soap, etc., are available the 4th Tues. of each month, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Our case manager is in and out so please call or make an appointment before visiting the office.

For emergency health care

The Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA) requires nearly all hospital emergency departments to provide appropriate treatment to anyone seeking help regardless of citizenship, legal status, or ability to pay.

Urgent care clinics may be required to provide treatment in the case of some emergencies. Local clinics include Emergency One, weekdays 8-8 and weekends 8-4 in Kingston, Hyde Park, and New Windsor. Optum (formerly CareMount Medical) has offices in Kingston/Lake Katrine, New Paltz, Poughkeepsie, Rhinebeck, Carmel, and more. Hours vary, call 844-484-6564 to check.
