SUMMARY:UIDN Benefit: Whimsical Clothed Figure Drawing
DESCRIPTION:Local artist and educator Lauren Hollick is leading a series of Friday afternoon workshops. \nBring family\, friends\, coworkers. All experience levels and ages welcome. Those 12 and under must be with an adult. Sharp tools will be on a high shelf away from little hands. \nA model with fun costumes and props will bring a sense of whimsy and play to figure drawing. \nParticipants new to drawing figures will be guided on how to create them using basic shapes and lines. More experienced drawers can choose to be as independent as they wish. \nPaper\, clipboards\, and basic drawing tools will be available but participants are encouraged to bring their own sketchbooks\, drawing boards\, easels\, and drawing tools \nContribute whatever you like or are able. 80% will go to UIDN; 10% to The Good Work Institute for hosting; and 10% to Lauren for materials\, planning\, and overseeing each session.
