DESCRIPTION:  \nJoin CUNY’s Initiative on Immigrant Education for the virtual launch of Immigration in Early Childhood Education. \nParticipants will learn ways educators can create welcoming learning environments for immigrant-origin students and their families. \nThis resource was created for PreK-2nd grade educators to better support the youngest students and their families across public\, private\, and religious preschools\, Head Start sites\, childcare centers\, and community-based organizations. This module is released as the rights of immigrants are under attack\, and their access to education programs such as Head Start is being restricted for undocumented families.
